Why you'll love the Marker Alpinist 12 from Ski West

The ultra-light pin binding offers active length compensation during ski flex and an impressive power transfer downhill due to a 38 mm drill pattern. The carbon-reinforced toe provides great stiffness and comes with anti-ice pads and integrated elastomers for easy stepping in. The heel features a climbing aid with 0°, 5° and 9° angle and allows super convenient switching between hike and ride mode. Very practical: Alpinist allows a +/- 7,5 mm heel adjustment to suit various sole/boot lengths!

Key Features

ISI (Intuitive Step In) Toe Piece: Features an integrated rubber stop pad, wide footprint, and kinematically optimized pin levers for quick alignment and effortless step-in.

Active Length Compensation: Heel mechanism moves back up to 4mm during deep ski flex to maintain consistent release values and uninhibited ski flex under load.

38mm Wide Hole Pattern: Extra-wide mounting footprint delivers exceptional leverage, edge control, and direct power transmission to the ski.

Climbing Aids with Fast Shift Mode: Features neutral 0°, 5°, and 9° riser options; fast shift mode allows quick switching between 0° and 9° without rotating the heel.

Anti-Ice Pads & Elastomers: Integrated rubber pads at the base of the toe piece prevent snow and ice accumulation in critical engagement areas.

15mm Heel Adjustment Range: Provides +/- 7.5mm of total track movement to accommodate different boot sole lengths (243mm - 367mm range) without remounting.

Ultra-Lightweight Brakeless Design: Streamlined 270g build eliminates excess drag and weight for fast ascents while remaining compatible with optional brakes and crampons.
