Dual Pivot

This re-engineered pivot system is essential for making the 130 flex workable and efficient.

Two specific pivot points create a mechanical advantage, allowing the skier to engage the boot's stiff flex more effectively. For the skier driving this boot, it translates into instantaneous power transfer. Every subtle movement is amplified and sent directly to the ski's edge. It provides the hyper-sensitivity needed for high-speed, technical skiing.

Auxetic Technology Liner

In a 97mm last with a 130 flex, the liner fit is paramount.

The liner material has auxetic properties, meaning it expands in all directions when stretched. This allows it to create a true, three-dimensional mold of the foot. This boot uses the Customizable Core Custom 1 liner—the densest and most performance-focused version. It ensures a skin-tight, anatomical fit with zero slop in the heel and ankle, providing maximum feedback and control. It is fully thermo-moldable for a perfectly customized race fit.

4. Dual Core Shell

The foundation of the boot is a shell built for unyielding power.

Lange injects two different densities of high-grade Polyurethane. An extremely rigid PU forms the power-transmitting chassis and spine, while a slightly softer PU wraps the foot for a better fit. This creates a boot with a lively, powerful rebound and uncompromising torsional rigidity for rock-solid edge hold at the highest speeds.

5. 50mm Cam Lock Power Strap

This is a significant upgrade from the lower-flex models and a nod to the boot's race heritage.

Instead of a standard velcro strap, the 130 features a cam-locking buckle system on the strap. This provides a much more secure and powerful closure at the top of the boot, eliminating any chance of the strap slipping and ensuring a solid, unyielding connection between the shin and the boot tongue for maximum power transmission.
